Behind the wall where you can t see a vent line and drainpipe lead to a soil stack which is the control center of the wastewater system.

In plumbing terms a trap is a curved piece of tubing that will always hold a little water to keep sewer gases from coming through into the house. Let s start with sizing individual plumbing vents.
