Just stardet a new world build a room with the doors but i wont get.

Firstly it s not sliding don t know if this is an issue only i have or not but its not sliding instead just going from complete closed to open instand. However the sliding door opens entirely allowing the player to enter through the door at any angle. What makes this variant nifty is that the door parts are on the edge of the block allowing for more air space in addition to windows for peering out. By default all blocks that haven t been constructed won t be airtight. The door does require power to function oddly enough as long as the door is powered and welded up to its functional level without. The block s functionality and user interface are. The airtight door while closed is certainly airtight it seems to have no oxygen when standing in the cube space whatsoever.

The airtight hangar door is a large ship only block that telescopes from its standard size of 1x1x1 to 3x1x1. Blast doors also do not deform based upon damage. Grouping the hangar doors together will help opening and closing them easier and quicker rather than one by one. Likewise pistons can be use to open close blast doors by sliding them back and forth past the normal heavy and light armor blocks making up the rest of the box rather than by rotating the blast door using a rotor.

Secondly it seems it is not airtight. They re basically a relic from before airtight hangar doors were added to the game. This makes airtight sliding doors very practical. Blast door blocks are mainly used in conjunction with pistons or rotors as they are able to slide into a 1 block space unlike the standard light and heavy armor blocks.

The list below contains all the of the large blocks since only large grids currently are the only ones capable of being pressurized.
