Six and 8 inch tiles don t feature the self locking nubs that 4 inch tiles do.
A tight 1 8 grout space will allow the pattern to flow nicely from one tile to the next.
The unique shim like design allows wedges to be pushed in or pulled out to adjust the position of tile up to 1 8 in while also holding the tile in place.
After your first tile is laid put a spacer.
There is less irregularity with rectified tiles so less spacing is needed between each piece.
Therefore the spacing is predetermined.
